PUBLICATION SIZE: Printed web offset; 2 columns per page. Untrimmed 8 3/4” x 11 1/4”, trim size is 8 1/2” x 11”. Page live size is 7 1/2” x 10”. For assistance with spreads, inserts and advertorials, please contact our advertising staff. Note: Keep all pertinent matter in bleed advertisements at least 1/4” from edge of image.

ADVERTISING MATERIAL is preferred on CD, Zip discs or by email and must be in the following formats: TIFF, JPEG, EPS, PDF or QuarkXPress (with only Postscript fonts & CMYK artwork). We accept files created in Quark 5.0 or below, Illustrator or Photoshop. Illustrator and Freehand files should have fonts converted to outlines and be saved as an EPS file.

All files must be labeled clearly as to company sending and content, i.e.: companyname.ad.logo (this is extremely important when sending more than one item on file). For other specific information, call 1-800-598-8083 or 217-268-4959.

HARD COPY PROOF: Ads submitted as electronic files must include a hard copy proof along with the disk. Rags Magazine will not be responsible for mistakes in a printed ad if a hard copy is not submitted with the electronic file. A proof is required for four-color ads (Iris print, 3M Rainbow print, Laser print) that reflects mechanical aspects of the ad. Color guidance will be determined by the publisher.
